You'd think that because it's been around so long, the prices would have lowered. I have always grown up with cable, and I can't imagine going without it. But even though my family does not use this product as often as we pay for it, we are switching to basic cable. The name of this breath-taking Castle is Alcazar de Segovia. It has Middle Eastern and Christian influences on the design, and has wonderful detail. This spiked an idea from my parents. Since they would be retiring soon, they thought of creating a castle with a moat around their living space. I happen to think this idea is a great one. Depending on which "plan" you get, the prices vary. Napster Lite is free; however, others like Napster To Go aren't as good. Why would you buy music if you couldn't do what you wanted with it? On Napster To Go, you have to download it directly to your MP3 player. What if you accidentally deleted your favorite piece of music? You would have to buy it again. I think I like Napster Lite the most. You don't get to listen to the whole songs, just 30 seconds, but it's free and you can play the whole song of music you buy as much as you want, and burn CD's, and Have it on your MP3 player.

My Want List

Here is my want list as of now. As a musician, I understand how learning new music can be difficult, and if you play an instrument that people think are boring, such as a violin and classical music, people assume you are boring. As a trumpet, violin, and guitar player, I find there are a lot of musical prejudices. When I tell people which instruments I play, they only seem interested in how I play guitar, and whether I play acoustic or electric. I love pretty much all types of music: rock, pop, classical, opera, musicals, all except country music. People by and large only seem iterested in music that is on the radio. I find this very sad. Nobody recognizes great musicians such as Beethoven, Mozart, and Chopin. I admire these people because they created the fundamentals of the music we hear today on the radio. Next time you hear music on the radio, consider this: Where did these musicians get the beats they use or the melodies and harmonies? I think you'll find that all these elements were used by many other musicians before them.

Decisions, Decisions..

I find that every night, my family and I cannot seem to find what to have for dinner. Since she has a career that involves computers, she knows alot about them; and she has an idea for a special program that holds recipes, has a calendar where you plug in what meal is planned that night, and the program takes ingredients from the recipes and creates a shopping list of things needed for your meals that week. When can you expect to see this product flying off of shelves? Probably never. This idea is still just an idea.

Welcome to my blog!

First entry.
